First off, I need to acknowledge that is has been over a year since the last blog post, in which I promised that I would be better about blogging. Well, we know how that turned out, so I won’t bother to make any empty promises this time around.

I was inspired to write because we received in the mail a copy of “Connecticut Cottages and Gardens” from a client, designer, and friend, Trudy Dujardin. In it is a picture of some pieces that we made for her to complete her Nantucket getaway.

We were able to bring to life Trudy’s design for a pair of fun little nightstands that, while being small, had many challenging aspects. We were able to expand our Sketch Up skills.

Good thing I had frequent visits from my regular shop helpers.
